Is it painful?
Only minimally. You may feel a brief pinch, but most people find the process comfortable and quick.
Can I bring someone with me to the appointment?
If you feel more comfortable having someone present (at home or on-site), that’s absolutely fine just let us know in advance.
Do you test for everything in one go?
Yes. A single venous blood draw allows us to test for multiple biomarkers at once, making the process efficient and comprehensive.
Can I add extra tests to my package?
Yes. You can upgrade or add additional panels (for example, hormones, vitamins, or cancer markers) at the time of booking or during your appointment.
What if I move company or location, can I continue my checks?
Yes. Your account stays with you, not your employer. You can continue annual assessments privately or through your new workplace.
What should I do to prepare for my appointment?
We’ll send you clear instructions before your assessment. Generally, we recommend drinking plenty of water, avoiding heavy meals beforehand, and bringing a form of photo ID.
What happens during the health assessment?
A trained healthcare professional will take a small blood sample (venous draw), record key health measurements, and answer any questions you may have. The process is quick, discreet, and comfortable.
Will my employer see my individual results?
No. Your results are 100% confidential and stored in a secure online portal. Only you can access or share them.
What if my results show something abnormal?

Do I need a GP referral to book a Vital Flow Health assessment?
No referral is required. You can book directly through our website as an individual or as a company.
Can I use my results with my GP or private doctor?
Yes. Your report is downloadable and can be shared with your GP or any healthcare professional to support ongoing care or further investigation.
Are the assessments suitable for everyone?
Our health assessments are suitable for adults aged 18+. If you have a known medical condition, please let our team know beforehand so we can tailor your experience.
What if I’m nervous about needles?
Our healthcare professionals are experienced at putting people at ease and will talk you through the process. The blood draw itself usually takes less than a minute.
Can I eat or drink before my appointment?
Unless you are advised otherwise, you can eat and drink normally. However, for certain panels, fasting may be recommended, we’ll let you know in advance if that applies.
