General Questions
What is a Vital Flow Health assessment?
A Vital Flow Health assessment is a comprehensive health check that includes a full venous blood draw and personalised health report. Our checks measure key biomarkers to assess areas such as energy, organ function, vitamins, hormones, and more — giving you clear, actionable insights into your wellbeing.
How long does a health assessment take?
Each assessment takes around 15 minutes. It’s quick, efficient, and designed to fit seamlessly into your day with minimal disruption.
Who carries out the assessments?
All our assessments are conducted by qualified healthcare professionals who are trained, insured, and registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC).
Are my results confidential?
Absolutely. All data is GDPR compliant, securely processed through UKAS-accredited UK laboratories, and stored in your private results portal. Your personal results are never shared with your employer or anyone else unless you choose to share them.
How accurate are your tests?
We use venous blood draws (the gold standard in diagnostics), not finger-prick samples. This allows for a broader and more accurate range of testing — giving you results you can trust.
When will I receive my results?
Most results are available within 5-7 working days, delivered securely via your personal online portal.
Can I track my results over time?
Yes. Each assessment establishes a personal health benchmark, allowing you to track your biomarkers and wellbeing year after year.
Are your services available nationwide?
Yes. We provide both on-site workplace assessments across the UK and premium home visits for individuals.
For Employers
What types of businesses do you work with?
We work with organisations of all sizes and sectors, from SMEs to blue-chip corporations, tailoring each programme to suit workforce demographics, shift patterns, and wellbeing priorities.
Do you provide communication materials for staff?
Yes. We supply branded booking links, posters, and email templates to promote the service internally and encourage participation.
Can we include optional add-on tests?
Absolutely. Optional add-ons such as thyroid, vitamin, hormone, or cholesterol panels can be included depending on your workforce needs.
Do you provide support interpreting the aggregate data?
Yes. Our team can provide an overview session or executive summary to help you translate the findings into meaningful wellbeing actions.
How do workplace health assessments benefit our organisation?
Healthier employees mean fewer absences, higher engagement, and improved productivity. Our assessments also provide aggregated, anonymised health insights that can guide your wellbeing strategy and track measurable outcomes over time.
How much disruption will it cause to the working day?
Minimal. Each appointment takes around 15 minutes, and we handle all logistics, so your teams can continue working with minimal interruption.
Can we customise the assessments for our workforce?
Yes. We offer industry-specific and bespoke panels upon request, ensuring the tests reflect your team’s needs and working environment.
Will I see my employees’ individual results?
No. Employers receive only aggregated, anonymous reports showing overall health trends. Individual results remain completely private.
How do we book an on-site health assessment?
You can book directly through our website or request a consultation. Our team will help you plan the logistics, schedule appointments, and select the most suitable package for your organisation.
For Employees & Individuals
Is it painful?
Only minimally. You may feel a brief pinch, but most people find the process comfortable and quick.
Can I bring someone with me to the appointment?
If you feel more comfortable having someone present (at home or on-site), that’s absolutely fine just let us know in advance.
Do you test for everything in one go?
Yes. A single venous blood draw allows us to test for multiple biomarkers at once, making the process efficient and comprehensive.
Can I add extra tests to my package?
Yes. You can upgrade or add additional panels (for example, hormones, vitamins, or cancer markers) at the time of booking or during your appointment.
What if I move company or location, can I continue my checks?
Yes. Your account stays with you, not your employer. You can continue annual assessments privately or through your new workplace.
What should I do to prepare for my appointment?
We’ll send you clear instructions before your assessment. Generally, we recommend drinking plenty of water, avoiding heavy meals beforehand, and bringing a form of photo ID.
What happens during the health assessment?
A trained healthcare professional will take a small blood sample (venous draw), record key health measurements, and answer any questions you may have. The process is quick, discreet, and comfortable.
Will my employer see my individual results?
No. Your results are 100% confidential and stored in a secure online portal. Only you can access or share them.
What if my results show something abnormal?
Your digital report will highlight any results outside the expected range and provide guidance on next steps. If needed, you can take your results to your GP for further investigation or support.
Can I book a health assessment at home?
Yes! We offer private home visits for individuals seeking convenience or privacy. You’ll receive the same clinical precision and comprehensive reporting as our workplace service.
How often should I have a health check?
We recommend an annual assessment to track your health trends and catch any potential issues early.
Can you support large-scale events or conferences?
Absolutely. Our mobile clinical teams can deliver on-site health checks at events, conferences, or team days, with full logistical management.
Do I need a GP referral to book a Vital Flow Health assessment?
No referral is required. You can book directly through our website as an individual or as a company.
Can I use my results with my GP or private doctor?
Yes. Your report is downloadable and can be shared with your GP or any healthcare professional to support ongoing care or further investigation.
Are the assessments suitable for everyone?
Our health assessments are suitable for adults aged 18+. If you have a known medical condition, please let our team know beforehand so we can tailor your experience.
What if I’m nervous about needles?
Our healthcare professionals are experienced at putting people at ease and will talk you through the process. The blood draw itself usually takes less than a minute.
Can I eat or drink before my appointment?
Unless you are advised otherwise, you can eat and drink normally. However, for certain panels, fasting may be recommended, we’ll let you know in advance if that applies.
